Nick Harauz graduated from the University of Toronto with a BA in Film and Sociology. Shortly after graduating from University, Nick won a placement with Clearwater Films in Vancouver through the Canadian Film & Television Production Association (CFTPA) under the Global Mentorship Program. In June 2005 Nick Harauz founded Inconscience Productions. The official inaugural celebration of Inconscience occurred with a launch party at the Mod Club Theatre in the summer of 2005.
To date, Nick has produced material for domestic and international markets. Aids and Social Stigma was shot on location at the 2002 18th International Aids Conference, Barcelona, Spain. Filming continued throughout Canada and the United States of America. In April 2005, Nick produced and directed Machel Montano’s: Fire Fete, a concert showcasing the number one Soca artist in the world.
